Will be interested in a 4 or 5 string[/b] I bought this bass in February and although it's a really great bass, I don't feel totally at home on a maple board. I had it up for sale several weeks back... I have finally come to the conclusion that I really am after a rosewood board after all. It's a superb bass - sounds really great, low action and plays like a dream.     Hi Guys. Thanks for the interest. There is no crack in the neck, just some grain showing on the photo. Will take another pic to show. The bass is two weeks old.Really fancy a rosewood board for reasons mentioned above. Would consider shipping to Europe. Thanks again.

Cheers![/b] Bought this a few weeks back brand new. It's a great bass, but being a finger style player, find rosewood is more my thing. I am looking to sell, or do a straight swap for a DJ4 with rosewood board. It's up for sale for £650.

    Thanks for the reply. I think it may be a different type of problem on the SR506. I presume yours is a 35 inch scale length bass also, as opposed to the 34 on this one. Thanks again for your help!

    I am thinking about buying one of these basses, but have read some posts (on the internet) where people have said there is some kind design problem which makes it impossible to set the intonation correctly. Have any other owners had this problem? Cheers
