1. Quite possibly not a great deal either...! I've got a DOD FX25B that I haven't been using much, but it's a pretty nice pedal. Would this be suitable for a part exchange maybe? I'm really clutching at straws here. Also, are you reachable via London tubes? I go up there a fair amount so I could possibly collect the neck as well if a deal were struck. If there are any particular bits you were looking for, then I can see what I could possibly do as well.
What you got?
2. This is a still available, great condition style bump!
 3. Hi all! Simple one here, really - just trying to gauge interest as I may need to get a new head. This is a 2006 Markbass SA450 head (recently discontinued) and I love it to pieces. For the types of venues I am playing now however, I am starting to think that I need more power at 8 ohms which is disappointing because it is still a very loud head (especially at 4 ohms). No pictures as of yet, but it does have some scratches at the bottom as these heads can sometimes pick them up quite easily . I still may decide to keep it, as I am also currently looking into buying a power amp and hooking it up to the Markbass instead. Cash on collection is vastly preferred as sending stuff like this makes me nervous, but a possible agreement could be reached - I'm also around the Sussex/Surrey/Kent area quite a lot if that helps matters. Let me know if you have any questions

 5.
How come you're getting rid?
Sorry for the late reply. Im not using pedals any more, seems a waste to just have it around not being used.

 7. ah man, if this was the 5 string i'd have had your arm off! Good luck, I love these!
 8. I've tried out both the 2x10 and 1x12 (not had chance with th 15 yet) resently as im looking for a light weight portable rig and I have to say I was really impressed with them both. I just sold my mark bass 4x10 and am seriously considering the 2x10 as a replacement. They both sound great and you can achieve the same sounds out of both just with the 2x10 being that bit more efficent. They are both supprisingly light even for a lightweight cab as well.
 9. Hi there, I have a mint Gotoh 201B for sale, I installed it and decided not to use it so its practically brand new. The mounting screws are included as you can see from the images. Thanks alot Kay
 10. Hi there, mojobass purchased a gig bag from me. Great to do business with, very easy transaction. Thanks again Kay
 11. Hello Bass Chat, I have decided to put up for sale my Tweed Fender gig bag. It is in really good condistion, not quite as new as there is a pull in the stitching at the head stock end on the front (this can be clearly seen in the photos). There is also a mark on the pocket compartment (which again, can be seen clearly in the photos). This is a really sturdy gig bag and the fit is snug so to keep your bass motionless in transit! The zipper is really high quality, I have never had it snag, jam or come open as I walk with it. As expected it a soft gig bag there are 2 straps on the back (with metal clips to attach it to the bag) so you can carry it on your shoulders, back pack style! Not much more to say about it other than if you like a vintage style look no further than tweed!! £20 ono inc postage and ill send it 1st class recorded via Royal Mail Thanks for looking Kay Here is my feedback: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...ck+for+Basskay1 Pictures:
 12.
You could also shield the back of the scratch plate.
Yeah ive seen that you can cover the back with foil and run a wire to the cavity to something metal inside. As far as im aware could help as well?
 13.
For a whole discussion of grounding, mothods of doing the job, materials etc go to GuitarNuts.com The site is based around strats and Telecasters i.e single coil pickups, with lots of alternative wiring diagrams for those guitars as well graphite shielding paint is available from e -bay T
Cool thanks, Ive had a good read through GuitarNuts and it seems to be a good DIY job. I found self adhesive copper foil on eBay that looks to do the trick. Ill let you know how I get on
 14. Thanks for the tip about the wire, something to try in an emergency
Definitely shield the cavity and the pickup routes too (connect the pickup route shielding to the cavity route shielding so it's all grounded) to try to minimise the interference and then go after the source. My house has some lights which cause interference, you should test to see what's causing the problem where you are. Here, we have some dimmer-compatible lights which each have a transformer which converts the power to 12V and they cause a lot of noise (on MW radio too), so they're going to be removed. Shielding has helped but it's till a problem for any single coil pickup.
Cool so Ill do the cavity and the routes, i think i saw a tutorial type artical somewhere about this so its something I can do my self. Ill check our studio for interferance, we have quite a few things plugged in to extender bars so i wonder if that could be part of the problem
 15.
I have the same bass. I copper shielded the control cavity which helped.. there are some threads about it over on talkbass. I've also found that it cane be made worse by certain lights in the house etc and obviously when you aren't running both volume on full. I never hear any noise at venues unless there is some sh*tty power supply going on.
That was another option I was considering, thanks for your input, that really helps. I will look in to that further I think.
 16. yeah that is a really good point. This was the first thing that came to mind. Its not a horrific buzz, its just quite annoying, especially for recording.
 17. Hey there, I have a USA fender 75 RI (with the standard pick ups) and I seem to getting quite abit of noise (which stops when I touch the strings). I know that they have an internal strip but I was thinking that an external grounding strip could solve this but A) i cant find one and B ) Does anyone know if I need it, will it make a difference? Thanks guys Kay
 18. Hi Basschat, firmo purchased my ODB-3. The transaction was quick and easy from start to finish. A pleasure to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again! Thanks, Kay.
