I'm now using a Smooth Hound wireless system, to this is now surplus to requirements. Line6 G30 Wireless system complete with it's original box, in good condition. The clip has come away from the transmitter, which appears to be a common issue looking at the internet, although i used it with a Neotech pouch which is included. Price includes UK mainland postage.

Hi, i know looking on the internet the usual weight of a Stingray is 9.5lbs. I've just tried to weigh mine using one of those luggage weighers, & it looks like it's roundabout the 9lb area taking into account a wobbly hand, with trying to weigh the bass & take the photo at the same time 😉 Hope that helps.
Nice one! I ended up getting a Schroeder mini10-R a couple of weeks ago, just by chance. I was not looking for anything, but I met someone who had a Barefaced Big Baby 2, same speaker I have ordered and am waiting for, and he suggested I visited him and try his... So I did, and among his various speakers he had this tiny thing (it's a bit smaller than the CMD121P) that sounded great and was loud... and he happened to want to sell it. I have since used this combination once live and a few other times at rehearsal. It's awesome. I can only imagine yours is probably better. LOud, powerful, fits easily in the boot of a Golf with plenty of space left...
It's certainly lighter that my previous TC gear, which wasn't heavy by any stretch of the imagination, & sounds awesome. Can see this lasting me for some time as, at my time of life, i'm after the combination of light & great sounding, which this does by the bucket load. The added bonus is both combo & cab were made in Italy, after reading about some of the Markbass stuff being manufactured in Indonesia

Thanks to everyone who has passed on advice in this thread, it's greatly appreciated I have no doubts that at some stage in the future i will need to downsize, but for the time being i've decided to stick with my TC Electronic gear. I've just ordered some Roqsolid covers for them as well.
There are NY121 cabs up for grabs on here at the moment, and a CMD121P as well..........
Cheers Lozz, looking at it looks like the CMD121P has now sold

Thanks for your thoughts, looks like a good way to go but i'm still looking into it. Was also also looking at the Littlemark Tube 500 head as well. Whatever i decide i will need to sell my TC Electronics gear to part fund the project.

I'm considering selling my TC Electronic BH500 head & speakers ( two BC210's ) to help fund the purchase of a Markbass CMD 121P. Primarily i'll be using this in the house & possibly small pub gigs, but i was then looking to add a Markbass NY121 extension cab at a later date when funds allowed. I was wondering if anyone has got the same set up on here & if they do what they think of it ? Thanks
Hi fellow lefties, I'm looking to upgrade my bass gear. As part of this process i'm looking to move on my G&L L2000 Tribute bass. It's in natural gloss with a rosewood fretboard. I've had the bass for about 2 years now & has never been gigged, as i only play indoors as a hobby, due to the unpredictable shifts i work. I am selling it with a Harley Benton hard case, which i bought from Thomann about a year ago. Ideally looking for £420 plus postage. Here's the blurb from G&L website; PICKUPS 2 Fullerton-made G&L Magnetic Field Design humbucking pickups BODY WOOD Basswood or Swamp Ash NECK WOOD Hard Rock Maple with Rosewood or Maple fingerboard NECK RADIUS 12" (304.8mm) NECK WIDTH AT NUT 1 3/4" (44.5mm) TUNING KEYS Open-back traditional tuners BRIDGE G&L Saddle Lock bridge with nickel plated die-cast saddles. Flatwounds? Can you tell me what they are?

Mystery solved I was going to add that there is no silk thread at the bridge end of the string, if that helped at all -

Think they could be La Bella Deep Talkin Flats. I 've recently fitted some to my G&L Tribute L2000, they have the same terracotta coloured threads and they sound awesome
