  1. After years of playing Fender P basses, I've recently started getting an issue with the forefinger of my fretting hand after playing, especially if it's a 2 gig weekend, possibly the early signs of arthritis. Having Sandberg's in the past I took the plunge on this lefty TT4, as I've always loved the necks. Three gigs later & no issues with my fretting hand. Added bonus it only weighs 3.5kg 😊
  2. Rejoined the Sandberg club with this lefty TT4, soft aged metallic orange with a birdseye roasted maple neck. Three gigs under it's belt so far, loving it 😊
  3. *Price drop - £350* Looking at selling my lefty Bass Collection Bruce Thomas Profile bass. If you’re not aware of them there’s a separate thread on the forum regarding these basses. I purchased the bass from the Bass Centre in early 2024. It’s in excellent condition with no marks or issues, set up really well, plays lovely, & sounds great. Included is the Bass Centre gig bag it came in, plus the book signed by Bruce Thomas. It’s currently fitted with dunlop strap pins, although the original strap pins are included in the sale. Weight on my bathroom scales is 4.1kg. You may well ask why am i selling it then, well i have a Fender P Pro 2 which gets most of my gig action nowadays, plus i’ve got my eye on a non P bass to give me something a bit different. These are now £645 new, so I believe what i’m asking for is a good and fair price. UK sale only, & local collection from the Teesside area preferred, although i may be able to meet up within a reasonable distance from this location. Should any buyer wish to use a courier, this would be at their expense & risk.
  4. It is @kevham, but i've got three other precision style basses, including a Bruce Thomas Bass Centre P which is also up for sale, so sadly it's surplus to my requirements.
  5. Bump & price drop to £1300. Reasonable offers considered.
  6. Thanks for you input @Happy Jack, i suppose like everything it's going to come down to personal preference going forward. As mentioned by a number of basschatters the build quality of the Lull's are second to none, so it would be criminal for it to sit in it's gig bag in my music room when someone else could get enjoyment from it.
  7. I play in a general covers three piece, ( singer / guitarist, drummer, bass player ). We cover anything from The Beatles, Squeeze, Elvis Costello to Stereophonics, James, Oasis etc. My mainstay has been a USA Fender Precision. I like the clarity & build of the Lull, & to honest i'm not sure if the audience really care what i'm playing, but i'm wondering if the Precision is a better fit listening through my IEM's on stage, or if just a case of me having to get used to a slightly more forward sound coming through my in ears.
  8. They are indeed Chris, although you're not helping my indecision 😂 I know if i let it go the chances of seeing another lefty would be extremely slim, if not impossible on the second hand market. I've read on here that you & @Happy Jack have your Lull's strung with flatwound strings, i'm wondering if that's the way forward 🤔
  9. It is @JohnR, i'm in two minds whether to let it go or not 🤔
  10. My lefty Mike Lull PJ4
  11. Just as update for @rasher80 & anyone else who maybe interested. Really loving my Bruce Thomas Profile, i've been alternating it with my Mike Lull PJ4 & it's really holding it's own against the Mike Lull. My band mates really love how punchy it is, & when my wife first heard it at a gig she commented how good it sounded. I'm loving both of them, so i'm now taking them out to gigs, & my Fender P is consigned in it's case under a bed. I've added some links to Youtube video's so you can hear how it sounds in a band mix ( best heard through headphones ). The last video is a compilation from our gig on Saturday where i playing the Mike Lull so you can compare. I'm playing through a Genzler Magellan 800 head & Barefaced Supertwin.
  12. I've mentioned it so thought I'd better post a few photos of my recently acquired lefty Mike Lull PJ4 😊
