We bought Alto trusonic speakers a few years ago and they're great. Not in the same class as the top top end stuff but plenty good enough for pub gigs and great value for money.
We have 4 of the 12" active tops and use 2 as monitors, which gives us a bit of redundancy should a top go. Added the active 15" sub last summer for a few bigger gigs and am very pleased with that too. Generally just use it for kick and a back line bleed in bigger venues.

Interesting, at the time I enquired about a dot and bound neck Mark said he couldn't do it.
He gave me the impression it would be significantly (and possibly prohibitively) more costly. Didn't follow up on how much exactly though. Would love to see pics of one. -
No probs,
I see you're pretty local. You'd be welcome to drop in for a brew and to try it out with no pressure to buy.

Hi Tobie,
Haven't weighed it myself but Thomann say 15.6 kg. It's a comfortable one hand carry for me and I'm no strongman! Good handle too. Full specs here https://m.thomann.de/gb/hartke_hx112_hydrive.htm -
Hartke Hydrive 1x12 300w cab.
Switchable between 4 and 8 ohms - this is great for using as part of a modular rig. It also has a switchable high boost cut. The box itself is tiny and pretty lightweight. These cabs are great and seriously underrated.
I've used it solo or paired with a Barefaced compact for pub gigs and it's more than held it's own in both situations. It's a great cab and only going because I've had the opportunity to buy a matching Barefaced. GAS is a terrible thing!
Used lightly for the last few years. The usual scuffs to corner protectors where they have done their job. One small tolex rip on the front top edge and one corner protector that is a bit dented with the tolex behind it coming away slightly. I've tried to show this accurately in the pics.
I'm based in Sale, South Manchester and would very much prefer collection. Can meet up within reasonable distance or buyer to arrange courier. No trades thanks. Priced (IMHO) [s]fairly[/s] as a serious bargain at [s]£175[/s] [s]£150[/s] £130.

Dammit! Teach me to have an early night!

I have to drive pretty much past the front door on my way to/from work. It's a bloody marvel I'm not miles poorer!
I've bought a bass, practice amp and other bits from Drew and it's always been great service. Happy to let me try every toy in the shop and never even glanced at his watch. -
Love my trib L2500. I a/b-ed it with the USA version when buying and it was so close that I couldn't justify the extra few hundred quid. There's one in the for sale section for £300 at the mo, that's just ridiculously cheap.

I'm getting VERY close.
Black S212 with Fawn (Fender Tweedish colour) frame and Oxblood cloth

Oh good, that means there'll be a 2nd hand one near me for sale in about 6 months! -

Loving this setup at the moment.
Limelight jazz
TH500
Gen 2 compact
One trip from the car, even with the extra hydrive 1x12 I use for a little more 'width' at gigs. Sounds and looks great IMHO.

Think all gigs are cancelled until further notice Les. I'd keep an eye on their twitter account and NWB.co for any more info.

Not sure if this is the done thing on this forum, mods please move or let me know if it isn't.
Just heard that John, landlord at the OMT passed away peacefully in his sleep last night. I reckon if you're involved in the Manchester/North West covers scene then there's a good chance that you've played there at some point. John liked live music and good beer and ran the pub with both. They've put 3 bands on a weekend for as long as I can remember, so this is just to say thanks to John for giving weekend hackers such as myself a stage to throw shapes on, helpful advice and a fantastic pint after the gig. The world needs more landlords like him. Rest in peace.

Sold Damon my P special. Great buyer who kept in touch and put up with my poor navigation skills. Cheers!
Andy -
And sold to Damon. Enjoy it mate.

Turns out we both went to see the Foos last night. Seeing Nate rock a P in the same colour combo made his mind up, and almost made me keep it instead!
-
On hold pending the usuals.

Nice Jazz, I think that's one of the lightest 'relics' I've seen on a Limelight.
I was surprised how light it was too. Looking at all the pics on here I was expecting it to be more beaten up and I was initially a bit disappointed that it wasn't,but it's really grown on me the more I use it. -
Had mine for a couple of months now. It's taken me a bit to get used to the thicker vintage style neck and I still haven't quite got the action spot on, but it is a very lovely thing indeed and has had a fair few compliments on appearance already.

Thanks for the comments guys. The neck is indeed super slim - much slimmer than my LimeLight J.
There's been some interest but nothing absolutely concrete yet, and I won't be gutted if it doesn't go for while yet as it is fab.

Reluctant, want to keep it but have to sell one type bump...

Unscientific bathroom scales weight is 9.2lb type bump.

Fender Precision Special PJ - a P body with a J width maple neck. This is a 1998 MIM passive version bought a few years ago from this parish. A lovely bass with a great low action, but GAS struck and it's one in one out at Colley towers so no trades thanks.
It's CAR with a black pick guard - I also have the original anodised gold one and Gotoh 201 bridge (again, I have the original Fender BBOT if you prefer).
I had the pickups upgraded to Wizards by Steve Robinson (Manchester Guitar Tech) a while ago but must have reused or sold the originals. This means that the gold guard doesn't quite fit over the pups in the bass, but the black one in the pics fits fine.
It's in good condition, a couple of minor headstock dings, one small paint chip on the underside and one slightly bent elephant ear - all present when I bought the bass. I've tried to show them in the pics.
I'm based in South Manchester and would MUCH prefer meet up to sell. I can travel reasonable distances for petrol or buyer is welcome to arrange own courier.
Anyway, pics:

Playing in a classic rock covers band a few years ago at a full on rock pub. It should have been a perfect fit but for whatever reason the crowd weren't warming to us. Towards the end of the second set, a massively drunken bloke stumbles across the dance floor between songs and yells:
"You're better than this!"
We weren't.
