1.
I got an email from Jules yesterday. The band have found their new bass player. I get the feeling that might have been advertised on other sites before he posted on BC. The search continues......
Yeah, I picked his details up on musofinder. After working out that they were too far away for me, I suggested he drop by this place and stick a note up. M

Ta
If you have a look at their web site, there's a set list there: http://www.thenomadslive.co.uk/live M PS. Hi Jules...
 3.
Just got back from the Bass show , in agreement with all the comments on every single trade booth filled with '' slappers ". Not really my idea of a good time , but TM Stevens was great and Marco Mendoza well worth the trip. I attempted to try out the new Yamaha BB's and the Attitude 3 , but really could not hear a thing as I was competing with all the grommets in the next booth playing mega-slap through rigs that really belong in large venues/stadiums. I took a wad of cash and credit cards, but I'll probably stick to Basschat for my purchases. Glad I went, not sure if I would rush back .
+1... However, well worth it for the masterclasses & live sets. M
 4. Hahahaha... Just come back from the Bass show thinking the exact same thing. By the time I left, that slapping was driving me around the bend!!!! M
 5.
Hello mate, Not sure if fragility got back to you. I bought it.
...and if you didn't, I would have! M
 6. My first bass was a Marlin Sidewinder (circa 1986). Took ages to get a decent action setup on it. Gigged it a few times and recently dug it out for my son to start learning on... It has a fish logo but it's not engraved. M
 7. If it was a fretless, I would have ripped your arm off... M PS... I've also got the Bubinga version with the brass nut.
 8. Oooohhhh.... That's tempting. ...and you're not far from me either. M
