Selling a number of basses as I only play my P-bass. The wife reminded me of this fact, and for once I actually agree with her. Must be going soft. This is a Peavey TL (Tim Landers) 6, made in America. The quality of build on this bass and it's playability are right up there. It's transparent dark purple (looks like transparent black on stage) over solid flame maple (yes solid) and purple heart. It's 24 fret, through neck, ebony fingerboard with MOP triangle inlays. Has a Khaler fixed bridge, twin P pickups and active / passive electronics. All original and in excellent condition. It sounds and plays really, really well. If you have never tried one of the Peavey American TL basses, you would be in for a big surprise. They are truely quality instruments. For £450 I think you would do well to find a better 6 string. Handmade Iceni Chaser 4 string bass in black. It's a stunner in black. Got it of bass chat for the bargain price of £400, and in the spirit of Basschat, that's all I want back. It has a J pickup in the neck position and a MM pickup at the bridge. Both pickups are Basslines. Fantastic handmade bass at a bargain price. As mentioned in some of my other gear sale posts, I only really play my ESP P-Bass, so seems pointless having basses lying around unused. Comes with a soft case. Should have mentioned it is active, with volume, balance, bass & treble cut/boost, a switch for slap (scoop with high boost) and the volume knob pulls out to give you a bost for soloing. Got this off bass off basschat about a year ago. It's extremely nice, but the only bass I ever really play is my ESP P-Bass. It's a natural Fender Marcus Miller 4 string, over £400 of upgrades.
