hello there having a bit off a clear out and found this great condesner mic The versatility of the AKG C1000S microphone makes this an extremely popular model, and a mic ideally suited for all kinds of recording and live sound applications. If no 48V phantom power is available, the AKG C1000S mic can be powered by a standard 9-volt battery, making it perfect for mobile use. With new battery monitoring electronics, the AKG C1000S microphone features a reliable LED warning light. The red LED above the microphone switch lights up when the C1000S remaining battery life falls below 45 minutes. works and sounds great £20 posted
Very interested actually, do you know what rack space it takes up? It looks like a 4U unit, but of course I'm not sure. If it is, i'll probably take it! If anyone knows, or if you'd be able to measure the height of the unit's front panel for reference, that'd be great!
Hi ya, yes it a 4unit space amp. It's really well built and it's made in the uk Thanks -

Selling a multigate noise gate £30 plus p&p The Behringer MULTIGATE is a state-of-the-art 4-channel expander/gate. It combines four frequency-selective expanders/noise gates in a single rack space without compromising the least bit of functionality. With the MULTIGATE PRO, you've got a precision instrument that offers easy operation yet unbelievably powerful, flexible control possibilities. Noise is suppressed during quiet passages and crosstalk between microphones reduced. The MULTIGATE PRO is especially effective for complex microphone separation in drum-set miking. Super-fast transients require extremely short attack times. Thanks to the new UTR (Ultra Transient Response) circuitry, transients are not colored by "cutting off" of their percussive attack phase. Behringer have integrated a fully parametric filter into the side chain, allowing you to fine-tune the controlling signal. The result: the gate reacts only when you want it to. Each channel of the MULTIGATE PRcan be linked with its direct neighbour, allowing a multitude of various configurations: two true stereo gates, one stereo and two mono gates or even a three-way or four-way gate. Flexibility at its best.

The Akai Professional E2 HEAD RUSH combines delay, tape echo, and a looping recorder in a single pedal. User-selectable delay options allow for maximum control of output signal. Real-time feedback and gain adjustment as well as echo rate enable sounds to be shaped with precision. E2 HEAD RUSH also simulates a four-head analog-tape machine with control of decay and spacing between virtual-tape heads to create complex multiple delays and repeats. The signal from each virtual head appears on an individual output for multiple returns when used with an external mixing console or multiple amps. Looping Recorder mode enables you to record and overdub layer after layer of sound in real-time, making E2 HEAD RUSH an unbelievable live performance tool. Depending upon which mode is selected, the left footswitch controls the on/off and play/stop functions while the right footswitch sets the tap delay time or recording and overdub options. The LED display indicates which effect in use and blinks in time showing the delay time selected. E2 HEAD RUSH empowers you to bring back sounds of yesterday, blend them with the ruggedness and flexibility of today’s technology, and add new functionality. Every effect-pedal board needs one! £70
Funny to see my old bass! This is the pic I took when I listed it a few years back. There are also dots on the side edge of the fingerboard but in the places where the fret lines would be (as opposed to the space between the frets). This, combined with the dots on the fingerboard (also in the place where fret lines would be) gives a really good idea where the lines would have been, if that makes sense. It works really well.
still for sale....
Havent tried one of these but i guess from reading about it its a bit to subtle also note that if you get a stomp box one 18volters are always better, this is illustrated by the difference between the ashdown compressor and the the old trace smx the ashdown is pretty much the same idea duel band etc probably even the same circuit but its pants being 9v it has no headroom the trace is 18volt and it sorts bass out pretty well. The ashdown is great for guitar though! With compressors I only ever compress the lows never the highs, this is especially true for your rock playing as if you compress the highs a lot you will loose the attack and the definition of each note you play. the ebs is also a very good pedal but it takes a good while to get the best out of it. Behringer dare i say make a rack compressor and its acutally very good, suprisingly. Save yourself a few quid and see if you can get an old smx pedal off ebay they turn up quite often, bought three of there from between 20 and 30 quid. If you get one just remember this the led glows red when you AREN'T feeding enough signal into it and NOT TOO MUCH! you wont overload it as i said it can take what you throw at it. I use a passive bass and i have found the best way to use a stomp box one is in the post preamp effects loop as i guess is has more signal to play with.
hey dan, would you be able to give us some advice on getting the best out of the ebs? thanks dude
