I was a little unsure about this song when it was suggested, probably more from the point of view that I wasn't very familiar with it I suppose. We learnt it and gigged it for the very first time at Chinnery's earlier this month and I think it came out quite well. No overdubs and live as it was heard on the night. We recorded the whole gig, so more will come out as it gets mixed properly. I thought Lazarus was particularly good. The only song that we have ruled out thus far is The Laughing Gnome. So, Pretty Things is a possibility, as is Magic Dance and just about anything else really.

Well, it's been a while since this thread was started and the set continues to expand. New addition to the band and playing to a sell out crowd in Saafend.

Dear all, A good friend of ours and fellow bass player has a three year old son (Kyle) who has been diagnosed with Hypertonia. In essence, the signal path from brain to legs is interrupted. He has been accepted at The St.Louis Children's Hospital in the USA for an operation which will hopefully allow him to walk. Without the operation, the possibility of him ever being able to looks bleak. It's a fairly huge operation for the lad and he will be in hospital for a week followed by three weeks intensive physiotherapy. As you can imagine, this will not be a cheap venture; all in around £40-50k, depending on what deals we can arrange for them.
