1. Saturday bump. Some offers from a number of places but still not sold.
2. Well, WD in the UK don't sell any 5 string pickguards at all, and neither do allparts.uk, so I guess it'll have to be a custom one from Aurora. Seems odd, bearing in mind these are Fenders. I'll pop up to a couple of music shops in town and see if they can order one in from Fender themselves.
3.
no, just one cheaper 5. I would trade for a gl tribute 2500 plus cash my way.
gaaaah, can't believe it - just sold a G&L Trib 2500. Would have been happy to trade too. Ah well.
4. Help me out here guys. I'm looking for a nice replacement tortoiseshell pickguard for my Fender Am DLX Jazz 5, and can't find anywhere online in the UK that stock them. The Fender site acknowledges the existence of the official "part", but the only place I can see that has em is here - http://www.wdmusic.com/pickguard_jbad5_300.html - this place seems to have them all! Anyone know of (or bought from) somewhere reputable in the UK for these? Cheers in advance
5. Another bump. Still here!
6. Thanks for the offers of trades guys, neither are really my thing but good luck with your sales anyway! Cheers
7. Right, well yet another sale has fallen through so this is back up for sale. Open to reasonable offers. Bump!
8. Yeah, i'm game for this - just found out about it last night from (of all people) my drummer..... Will probably try and get the bus - see you there.
9.
what kinda basses you interested in?
Not really had a good think about that yet, but i wouldn't say no to a decent Warwick 4 string, probably a $$ if there was one around (and a little bit of cash). But i'm open to offers. No Fenders though, got one already
10. OK, weekend bump. I'm *perhaps* considering a trade for a very very very good 4-string if anyone has anything to offer....?
11. First bump of the week!
12.
This is very tempting. And I would have the money for it as soon as a cheque clears in my account next week. Hmm...
Well it's likely to still be here if you're definitely interested mate.
13. Unfortunately this is now going to have to go on The Auction Site. Can't believe it. <sniff>
14. Bump for possibly the last time
15. Addded some pictures of the *lovely* case. With the *lovely* bass. Come on, £700. Worth soooooo much more.
16. Man - Warwick interest is at an all time low, isn't it? Although this is such a beautiful instrument (tonally and physically) that it wouldn't be the end of the world if it didn't sell... ...apart from the fact I need the money! Bump.
17. Now sold. Thanks for the interest!
18. Thursday bump. All serious offers considered.
19. Ok, here we go (sniff). I'm going to have to get rid of my 2003 Warwick Corvette FNA Jazzman 5 string. I've been threatening to do this for a while, but now redundancy kinda forces a downscaling in the bass dept as I don't need two 5 strings. So here it is. I'm sure most of you know all about this model, or can Google it for more details. But for those who don't: Bolt-on US Swamp Ash body with AA-Flamed Maple top Ovangkol neck Wenge fingerboard Scale length: 34" (long scale) 24 frets Passive MEC J/MM pickups with open pole pieces Active MEC 3-way electronics Honey Violin Oil Finish Gold Warwick tuners and gold 2-piece Warwick bridge Warwick security locks Just-A-Nut III Weight: 4.1 kg The mix of the MM and J pickups means it's that little bit more flexible in tone than a number of the Warwicks i've played - frankly it's a superb bass. And it's my baby. Attached some pictures that don't really do it justice - there's a wee scratch on the back by the neck bolts which i've tried to show, and that's really the only flaw in this - it's otherwise in superb condition. I'll throw in some Warwick wax and the wee cloth you get with it, a pair of Warwick Gold Straplocks, a spare Just-a-Nut III nut, and also (da daaah) i'll throw in my lovely (and only) SKB hardcase, and (da daaaaah) shipping to Mainland UK. Can't say fairer than that, can I? A full Warwick kit for a knockdown price. Asking for £700 all in. Let me know if you're interested. edit: as it looks like this isn't going anywhere just now, I am interested in a trade for a decent Warwick 4-string, preferably a $$. Not many other 4-strings taking my fancy at the moment but open to offers.
