1. Beautiful 535. Are you sure that is an ash neck? It looks like a maple neck in the pictures.
2. Great seller here! We just completed a perfect transaction together. And a killer looking jazz bass as well.
3. Might want to check out the Drozd Oracle's if you want those kind of specs. I am floored with my Oracle 6 33, the low B is even better than my old Ken Lawrence which I thought was impossible to do.
4. Man I wish I had a Fodera 6 string to trade you, might have to go looking for one. If this KL is anything like mine it makes the 40 plus Fodera's I've owned sound silly and look cheap, but that is just my opinion.
5. How old is this bass? I didn't know he did Marcus tributes with only three knobs and jack on the front of the bass as opposed to four knob and jack on the side.
6. The perfect travel or piccolo bass. Plays like butter. With a six string on the way I think I got the high range covered. Fits in the overhead compartment of a plane no problem. NOTE: This price includes a $400 custom leather case hand-made by Glen Cronkrite! and it is awesome! 7.
How are the Smith's, compared to Ken Lawrence?
Different animals, like comparing a J bass to a P bass.
8. I'm not sure if you know the history on this bass, but I believe this might of been mine about 10 years ago, it was amazing. Having owned to many Smith's, new and old, I can honestly say these are my favorite, the two band pre kills.
9. The full story of this bass can be read at the link below.
10. You don't see redwood like that except on a bass like this, nice piece Rainer.
11. This plays like butter, might be the lowest action I've ever experienced, great Erskine tone:) The top, neck, fingerboard, frets, and headstock are all mint, barely played. However there is some light buckle rash on the back and edges that is tough to photograph do to the light wood. 34 scale deluxe pre 8.5 pounds 18mm string spacing spanish cedar body walnut top maple neck morado fingerboard ProTec hard/soft gig bag, nice one, like new 2,495 euros shipped to Europe http://i46.tinypic.com/mj1qid.jpg http://i47.tinypic.com/30trod0.jpg http://i50.tinypic.com/34od1jd.jpg http://i45.tinypic.com/kch6gz.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/30u2xrd.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/30szm8m.jpg http://i45.tinypic.com/4r73o6.jpg http://i49.tinypic.com/10ojjnp.jpg
12. Yes, still for sale, I am in Colorado, USA. I have sold several high end instruments to basschat members in Europe. Let me know if you would like references. thanks
13. The title says it all, like new, unplayed, a funk machine. 14. I was going to purchase this instrument but held off at the lost moment for financial reasons. Having owned about 10 Celinders I can say there is nothing more sweet. I prefer all the Celinders over the Foderas I've had without a doubt.
15. This price is crazy cheap. I bet if you get some better pictures up this will be gone in no time.
16.
incredible Bass! where can I get some soundsamples of THIS ONE? Import to germany would add 30% yaxes and declaration fees, ending up at 5850 € *gulp*
I should add that I'm willing to declare as low of value as the buyer desires for customs purposes. thanks
17. This is the only 6er Hyperbass ever made. It does not have the detuners, which I prefer. It is strung with regular gauge strings. Personally I never explored the altered tuning thing, too much for me. Even the hyperbass 4 I used to own didn't have the detuners. It is just a monster 6 string fretless with a 3 octave range.
