Good stuff! We play Jeremy and Black Hole Sun too, but haven't played them 'out' yet. Nice to know there are people wanting to listen to them in pubs on a Friday and Saturday night! Only just discovered Kings X, but Dogman is probably my favourite of theirs so far.

Tim and I swapped LMK for Genz 6.0. He took the time out of a very important and busy shopping trip with his wife to drive up to my place of work to do a face to face swap. Very nice chap, great communication and a pleasant transaction. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Might be a mistake, but I rely on just one rig! Amp: Markbass LMK Cab: Markbass 106R I would get something smaller, but the 6x10 is small enough. Fits into the boot of my focus without moving the seats...and I can carry it on my own up stairs and stuff.

So, not the first and definitely not the last to buy a 5 string in hope of a smooth transition from 4, but after a week of trying, I'm going to give up until I can afford to own two basses! I bought it from ebay 10 days ago and it's a lovely looking bass, excellent condition, there's literally one small dink in the fretboard as shown in the photos. Otherwise, it's perfect. I believe it's a year 2000, made in Mexico. Midnight wine, with a white plate and rosewood board. I'd love to comment on how it plays as a 5, but I've little to compare it to. Sounds great, bit more character than I'm used to playing Precisions. Hello, just got a 5 string Mex Jazz, but I want a nice black pickguard to stick on it. I've searched here and google, but I could only find 4 string replacements does anyone know of a UK supplier? Cheers, Ben

Any issues?[/quote] Hey Musicman, apart from the couple of minor cosmetic blemishes mentioned, it's absolutely fine. Electrics are clean and functional, the action is good and the neck is straight. Sounds like it should. I'd happily keep it if I didn't want some Black, Black, Maple action and the one-in, one-out policy wasn't in effect!
