Decided not to sell this. It's a great bass despite the colour. Nothing a bit of gaffer tape can't cover up for a while...

not entirely sure what the finish is... I know that Fender swapped from nitro to poly in 68-69.

All original, these are kind of rare. The 80's was a great time for Japan made Fenders... Serial indicates 85-86 Maple neck, with blocks. It is heavy! Plays great.

all fender guitars changed in '68 the body may well have been made '68 before the change as the serial number is low 200'000's
