    That's right I'm a 62 years old bassplayer from Holland. I live in Nijmegen ( near the German border ). Used to play Wal's a lot in the eighties. Now it's Fender (style). As simple as possible and light (!). Those old bones are not getting younger ;-)

    For sale an excellent Bravewood JazzBass. Three years ago I bought the bass from John Elliot. Played it a lot and it really is a fantastic bass. 1375 GBP + shipping. Alder body, maple neck, rosewood slab fingerboard. Weight about 4.3 kg or 9.4 lbs Nice glowing nitro sunburst with tasty relicing. No extra relicing ;-) Bare Knuckle pickups. CTS pots Frets 100 %. Very easy playing neck. Slim, fast, worn in. Clay dots Tort pickguard Bakelite knobs Well, it's all period correct ( '62/'63 ) and working 100%. Hiscox case in very good condition Looks, feels and sounds like a (good) old Fender Jazz. The real thing would cost you a lot more.     I have at least one picture with me and the Blue 5string Overwater. But where.........Tried to find it but until now nothing. Question of time :-) What kind of Overwater will it be, the one you've ordered ?

    Hi guys, Well, the blue 5string original I had in the eighties was my first 5 string bass ! I ordered it directly from Chris at Overwater. Should not have sold it, but then again: lots of basses I have had the pleasure of playing, I should have kept. Sometimes the gas is playing tricks with your mind if you get me.:-) I'm in the race for an original at this moment. Very nice basses ! I love the shape ! Nels ( lowpainter )

    I'm selling my Wal Mk1 unlined fretless. Anyone interested ? It's in very good condition and is a delight to play ! I live in Holland ( Nijmegen ) It has a walnut top and back and the original case ( blue/grey ). A bit thinner neck than usual. It's dated march 1997 and signed of by Paul ( ! ) who was working at Wal that time. And runs Wal these days ( as you probably know ). Just some minor scratches on the body you can hardly see. The fingerboard is ebony unlined . It weighs 4,5 KG. The price is 2600,00 euro's= ± 2250,00 GBP. Drop me a line if you're interested.
