Total Watts

 1. Bump for the weekend - someone is getting a very good deal!
 2.
Hiya, is there the option of adding an extension cab? Any idea what the wattage might be at 4ohms?
Hi Rob, I believe it isn't possible to add an extension cab as the head is only design to run at 8ohm. It's load though - surprisingly so! Cheers Steve
 3. Price reduced - now needs to go to make room in garage!!
 4. Hi all, I am selling my 1 year old Hartke A100 Bass Combo - it has only been used in practice rooms for 4 months, twice a week and gigged once at a small gig and has never needed to be pushed above 50% master. It is in perfect condition and is kept in a non somking house and practice room. There are specs and reviews all over the web but basics are:

100 Watts @ 8Ohm (Don't let this put you off - it is VERY loud!)
15" Aluminium Cone
Bass, Treble, 7 Band EQ, Compressor
Aux In
Tilt-Back Design
These sell for £269.00 new on GAK and i am after £130. The amp is located just outside of exeter and a viewing/test is more than welcome. Pick up is preferred but i can easily arrange a courier at a very good price. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me either by PM or email: [[email protected]][email protected] or by phone: 07545 589078 Thanks Steve
 5.
I've done a bit of searching around and perhaps the A100 might suit my needs, with the added bonus of being a little cheaper. It gets good reviews and is LOUD. Thank you.
If you're local marvin - you're more than welcome to come and give the a100 a test run before you buy one? Just drop me a pm. Steve
 6. I have no experience with the Hydrive 112, but am currently rocking an A100 15" combo and it is ruddy loud! Just used for its first outting the other night against a loud drummer and two guitarists both with 200W Blackstar head and 2x12 cabs and it had plenty of ooomph. Set at about 4.5 volume, +3 Treble, +3 Bass and a mid boost on the EQ - its was easily loud enough and cutting through a treat! Growl wise - I can get enough from mine running the current eq and using my Passive through-neck peavey C4. Don't let the "100 Watt" fool you - it punches WAY above its weight. Sound quality is very good for the price tag!
 7. Congrats MB, we have our first gig after a new bassist (me) and a new drummer were recruited (after the others are leaving for Uni) tomorrow night - 2nd on the bill, local venue, well publicised. I cant wait! Hope it goes well! Oh and play till you bleed - then play some more. Never give the up the fingers --edited for spelling
 8.
Looks lovely until you see the back, then it looks half-finished! Wasn't this one something like £25,000?
Wasnt that made at Manson's guitars, Exeter? Only 10mins away from me.
 9. Hi all, Just joined a 5-piece southern/hard/rock/metal inspired originals band called Backhand Saloon based in Exeter. I Replaced the old bass player who played with a pick, where as I am a finger-er-er-er. The drummer has also been replaced by a much better player! Check out our myspace: Backhand Saloon The recordings are from a little while ago and we are soon to have some re-recorded songs and lots of new ones put up. Let me know what you think.
