  1. I have Mesa 400+ and MPulse 600 that I use, alternatively, with 1x15+2x10 cabs, but I've just burnt the 1x15 driver-coil!
  2. I have one that i really love. The one in my avatar, you can see it with his mates here, mine is the first one, a sort of prototype being designed by me with the luthier http://www.biarnel.com/liuteria/akme/akmeseries.html
  3. Hi. If you like listen and watch this video http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3TiFei2IR78&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D3TiFei2IR78 from the cd "A quiet land of fear" (Hoping this is the right forum section! ) Adriano
  4. I left the design to the Luthier, so this is a new Biarnel model, everyone can have one :-)
  5. I know it can remember many basses, its very difficult to study a good new shape. It remembers but its different :-)
  6. Hi there! I'm coming back writing on these pages (I read but I rarely write something due to my rough english...) 'cause of making of my new bass, a new "Stige" model, by Biarnel Luthery, that is Emiliano Nencioni, a young italian luthier whose basses you've already seen on this web site. " :-). I wanted a more stronger sound and "evil" look, a "dark side" model for my group's live set (Demetra Sine Die: have you listened to the new album "A quiet land of fear" ? ). The last one was a very dark live set, because we played in almost complete obscurity to let see projections on the wall behind us. So I asked to Emiliano to have Luminlay dots to glow in the dark in this new bass. Woods: alder body with maple top&back, bolt-on 5 pieces neck maple-wengé-padouk-wengé-maple, ebony fingerboard. One humbucker alnico low impedence pick-up (made by Emiliano), active 3 bands electronics. Shape has been designed to have a good look, with low weight - only 3380 grams - and a very good ergonomy, with special attention to stand-up picking playing (but you can also play sitting anyway, of course). Sound is big, with good low-mid and a great attack, that's what I like, especially live where I have to be heared well with any amp and cabs I find on the stage. But sound is dinamic too, rich in all frequencies, so you can modify it with on board or amp eq. And what about color? Purpleburst with transparent black neck, really cool! In the end, a very good bass, I like it a lot, it is really the one I wanted. Thanks Emiliano! You can find photo album here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151730403068750.1073741830.20100608749&type=1

  8. I often add a ZVex Wolly Mammut fuzz and the Bassdrive Fulltone overdrive, its an amazing and tremendous sound! Till now my cabs are ok
  9. I have the VoodooLab power brick, its very expensive but with 8 isolated output, absolutely noiseless, 2 output with selector 9/12 V e 2 where you can fedd Line6 or Strymon pedals. I used a lot pf different power in the past but this is really the best And with this one I have no more problems of hum, hiss and so on
  10. If you think to have to manage many effects, with different loop combinations, and you have money to spend, buy a switcher like Carl Martin Combinator or similar
