Hi there. I have a Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass that im putting up for sale/Swap.

It is in excellent condition, minus a couple of small chips in the surface paintwork in a few places ( See pictures), and only cosmetic. It is a fantastic bass and has been very well looked after.

I have upgraded the standard tuners and bridge to heavy duty Gotoh replacements. I have also upgraded the jazz pickup to a DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pickup. £170 worth of upgrades in total.

It has just been restrung and serviced too.

I will be puttting pictures up tomorrow if you're interested. I'll sell for £400, and i'll throw in an aluminium Harley Benton Flight Case for the bass worth £75 for free, or alternatively i am open to swap suggestions, especially Fender Jaguars & G & L L2500'S, however any 4 string, 5 string, 6 string, Fretless and semi acoustic basses of a similar standard may be considered.

Let me know if you're interested.

Cheers,

Mat.

Come someone.. I've got this bass and I thin it sounds better than the most standard modern basses.. I call it the unicorn of the fender jazzesesssssessss

there's a twist in the sound that makes you love it.. it play very well too... If I was rich I'd have one for each hand :-)

but think how good it would look sticking a set of blacks on that!!!!!!!!!

I think its worth pointing out I am in no wayy affiliated or endorsed by either mashup or fender.......I just love my aerodyne and hope to pass on the love
Im considering not to sell this bass now. In 2 minds now
let me help you there, this bass has a lovely neck to play, slim and petite, very fast.

the range of tones is decent for a passive bass, its by no means as versatile as my jag or MM, the P-pup is booming and warm and the j-pup is there just to thin it out and keep it in check for all you pop musicians who like a thinner sound.

The tone pot is very sensitive and every tweak of it makes the bass sound just a wee bit different.

the bass looks amazing and I quote this from my band members 'its the kinda bass you should wear a tie when your playing it'. This just adds to my saying this bass is classic/modern. It will fit into a functions band or a rock band......simples

infact i may sell my ray just so I have funds to buy this and stick a set of blacks on it...............hmmmmmmmm yummy

Did you receive my PM?

Anyway I wouldn't blame you if you decided not to sell. I nearly bought one new myself a couple of years ago but decided on a cheaper bass so I could fork out on effects.

Sorry guys. I've decided to either keep or trade for a Fender jaguar bass/G & L L2500 or let it go for the best offer i recieve. Looking for £400 for the lot. This is still a bargain basement price for what you're getting.

Cheers,

Mat

PS:- Anybody got a Fender Jaguar Bass that they want to trade?

I've been in 2 minds about this, as i recorded a lovely bassline with it over the weekend. Such a warm, round, full sound. But i have just recently bought a USA G & L L2000, which is getting alot more attention. However, i may still be tempted to sell or trade, should the right offer come along. Go on tempt me.
