s1ater
After a recent incident at a gig where my beloved p bass took a plunge from its strap, I've decided I need some straplocks. My other bass has schaller strap locks which are great, but I don't want to have to change out the strap buttons on this bass. Anyone know any decent ones that I wont have to change out the buttons? cheers Sean
dave_bass5
You would probably have to use a different strap to the one you have the Schallers on. I must admit im not really clued up on the different types of strap locks, ive only ever used Schaller and Dunlops. Why dont you want to change the buttons? Dunlop do buttons that work with their locking system or can be used with a normal strap. These look pretty close to a normal button but have the special locking hole in the middle. Probably not what your looking for but you can get straps with locking devices that fit normal buttons. Wonder how they operate in action.
