I'm going to transplant them over the weekend lLooking forward to trying it out at gigging levels...... *evil laugh* Should have said they're for the Terror Bass..... The amountof manufacturers who use them as a stock valve I guess is testament to an even level of QC these days. I'm kinda tempted to do abit of 'tube rolling' myself and start collecting a batch to play with. I have to admit, that of the few I've tried in specific amps, the Sovteks weren't my favourite. I will add the disclaimer that it's well documented that some valves seem tosound good in one amplifier but not in another,so it's a major case of YMMV! - but hell - trust ya ears, if it sounds great, it IS great!
