hi ppl

up for grabs is an Electro Harmonix Enigma Q-Balls envelope filter in tip top condition with box/instructions..
gotta be one of the most versatile filters around, sounds range from subtle to beyond wild!!

I got this Enigma from SuperMaximo (I think he had it from new) and sold it to sk8 a few weeks back. Where she stops, nobody knows...

just out of curiosity, did you try it with an expression pedal??

Sadly not. I meant to, but the only expression pedal I have is the weird and wonderful Devi Ever Peep (light-sensitive variable resistor, basically). The Peep works OK with other things, but I never got it to marry properly with the Enigma. Could have been as simple as the Enigma wanting a TRS (stereo-type) connector rather than TS (guitar-lead-type). I don't know.

In the grand scheme of things, nothing I'm doing at the moment has any sensible place for an envelope filter, so it went.

hmmmmmmmmmm, not a grand scheme in entirely familiar with if im being honest :) without spending silly money i cant find any filter that i prefer next to the discumBOBulator (am i repeating myself??)
horses for courses though...

is this turning into another envelope filter thread??

Well, thats the thing guys, I use wah a lot with my band, and a bass balls. This could potentially be a Wah Balls with the Octamizer in front should do a much better job than Microsynth, methinks...

PS I asked supermaximo to sell me this for 80 when he was shifting and wouldnt budge. Eventually got it at that price LOL
