Electric upright player looking for a 3/4 double bass

Hi everyone,

I'm new on here - I'm searching for a 3/4 size double bass.
I currently play a Mo Clifton electric upright.
It has a lovely mellow sound, but I haven't been able to get used to it properly,
with the sound coming from the amp and not the body. I think I need to get back to the acoustic.

I'm classically trained, but playing with bands and songwriters now.

I've spoken to Mo himself and he has recommended I sell the electric for £800.
I would like to keep it really but need to get the funds for an acoustic.

So, I'm on here to either sell my electric upright, or swap with someone who has a double bass of the same value.

Or if anyone knows of anyone selling a double bass I'd be grateful if you could let me know!

I'm in Edinburgh, but willing to travel.

Look forward to hearing from you!
