MIM's and CV's

I have just bought this:

pics down the bottom of the page.

and I have to say how blown away I am with it. The action is low and it's really good to hold and play. I have 2x USA Precisions, one is a 2 pickup deluxe model and yet this newby will stand up with them. The quality is getting better on the cheaper stuff.
I also made an impulse buy when out for a day in York on Monday. I saw this in Mormusic:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Squier-classic-vibe-...=item5887234e06

Tried it, and it's as good as anything else I have, seriously! That little pickup surprised me, it has some oomph to it. It was up at £379 but he reduced it to £299 so I was happy enough.
Again, very low action and a very straight neck.

Mormusic I have to say is one of the best guitar shops I've been in, very pleasant and it's a happy place.

Think I'll sell my expensive stuff now :)

You should try the Road Worn series (see my other thread)

After GASSING for a classic '50's in Honey Blonde, and getting my local music shop to hold one back (plus a Sunburst one) I ended up going for the more expensive Road Worn in faded Fiesta Read (salmon pink!) I didn't like the colour, I didn't like the whole fake relic'd thing, but it was head and shoulders above both the classic 50's to play and feel.

I have a MIM standard, but the classic 50's felt significantly better than that, and really, at £499, not much more expensive.

I can't praise the Road Worn enough though, but it is more expensive.

I was obsessed with getting one of those Classic Vibe '50's precisions a while back- I love the look of them! Never, ever heard anything but good things about them either. Plus it's got the tele headstock and a maple fretboard!

Lucky boy!

In my defence, I retired last year from owning a guitar shop so yes I'm lucky, (and often bored) :)

I spend way too much time on here but the CV is awesome! I don't often go into a guitar shop to buy anything but had to have this.

go buy one...

well go on!!

Dooooooooo eeeeeeeeettt.
