Is it the same pedal board/case in the pictures? I just couldn't work it out as the board is totally different in each picture!

Can you literally open the case up, remove the lid, and use it as a pre-made pedal board without having to remove it out of its shell?

No. The pedal board for sale is at left and right. The middle photo is just to show some pedals (instead of doing individual photos). They are in a little case that I use for smaller gigs.

Yes you can do that as the lid is hinged but can be removed. However I didn't use it this way because the front edge (lip) of the case is quite high so a bit inconvenient to do that...
