The gauges are 125, 105, 85, 65, 45, 30. They came by mistake, I'd ordered stainless steel, I'm not a fan of nickel strings so I've never used these. £30 including postage. How do you rate them? I'm currently using some DR Steel Low Riders, but I'm definitely more of a Nickel guy, I love Sun Beams, although they're maybe a little too soft on a 33" scale, and I've used some SIT ones which where pretty good and a lot cheaper, but I'm really interested in the Fodera strings, a lot of folks seem to like them. 6stringbassist Posted December 23, 2008 Author Share Posted December 23, 2008 Try the Lo rider nickel, they're a bit stiffer than the sunbeams, they have a hexagonal core instead of a round core.
