Not sure if this guy gets enough recognition.

Amazing player with the band Slave.

Check 'Feel my love' , one of the best examples of his signature sound; big growling rasping sound punctuated with slides, double stops and tasty fills.

At last! Someone else who appreciates Mark Adams!

Slave were a huge part of my bass upbringing. Marks's sound was huge, and IMO was the finest bass sound of the era. I think that when he turned to an Alembic he really found his signature sound. It's really hard to describe, but absolutely dominated the mix.

A great player.
