Anyone changed the original pups on the cv 60's p-bass to somethin more growly?want mine to sound a bit more aggressive as its a bit lifeless and quieter than my vintage bass.Wizard thumper maybe or seymour duncan?Or can i get away with some really good strings?think i have got ernie balls on at the moment.Dont want to not gig the bass as its great to play and fairly light.Ideas please.

Personally I swear by Seymour Duncan. I use the Antiquity range or SPB1s. If you want more growl I'd suggest an SPB3 from the Seymour Duncan range.[/quote]
yea ive heard the same ones mentioned before.wonded if anyone had actually put either on the cv bass.
