Hi guys! Just bought a Peavey Megabass Head with a bi-amping facility from ebay for £100. Anyone had any experience with one? Sounds awesome but i have no experience of bi-amps or crossovers. errrrrrrrrrrrr........................what are they? What are the best settings etc?

They're of little use with cabs that aren't specifically designed to work with bi-amping, and of the current crop of commercial bass cabs there are none. You'd have a fair enough result with a 2x15 for the bottom and a 2x10 sealed guitar cab on the top, using around 300 Hz for the crossover frequency, but with two bass cabs running both full range will probably work better.

+1 to that. I've had a couple Bi-amp rigs (GK800RB was a classic example) and tbh when put through bog standard bass cabs, imho they sounded better run full-range.
