It might be worth £500 to you but £200 to another. Its only worth what someones willing to pay for it! thepurpleblob Posted October 12, 2009 Share Posted October 12, 2009 You missed th obvious selling feature - the dude out of Steely Dan (Tom Barney) played the five string version of the J5. I had a "custom shop" one (check for the little sticker) and it was a very good instrument indeed. I got rid because I can't stand the insanity of two volume controls when blend controls exist. I haven't a clue what it's worth - mine went in a rapid series of trading down starting with a TRB-4p ('p' note) and ending with G&L Tribute. I don't know if that helps.
