RaNoFuNkY Posted September 5, 2009 Share Posted September 5, 2009 Hi All, Anyone know if flatwound piccolo strings exist?! I'm dabbling with the idea of putting piccolo strings on my fretless. I would be looking to use flatwound piccolo strings purely to prevent any damage to the neck. Would damage be likely using roundwound piccolo strings? If not, can anybody recommend a set? I hear good things about D'Addario and GHS. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Oh, also, where can I find a set in the UK?
