niceguyhomer Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 I walked away from an original blues band in July frustrated at the lack of rehearsals - basically we were 3 weeks away from the first gig and had five songs ready when the keyboard player announced he was going away for two weeks and the red mist descended. Anyway, I ate humble pie and went to their first gig last night and they were brilliant. Although to other musos they were a bit rough around the edges, there were moments of sheer brilliance and they went down a storm. My legs are badly bruised this morning from kicking myself all night. Ah well, I can look forward to my charity gig on the sea front at Blackpool on Sunday playing to chavs and seagulls with my new band who play songs twice 'round cos they don't the endings Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
