Rainbass Posted July 16, 2009 Share Posted July 16, 2009 Hi after owning the Stagg Upright for about 18 months, I got it out to play it last night and half of the nut flew off! Any idea where I can get a replacement nut, and what is involved in removing the remains of the old one and fitting the new one. endorka Posted July 16, 2009 Share Posted July 16, 2009 Interesting, the exact same thing happened to a student of mine the other week on the same type of instrument. He took it along to a local shop where they sell & repair stringed instruments, and they made & fitted a new one for him. No idea how much it was, but I don't think it was too bad at all.
