I am based in London and have been playing guitar (sorry not bass!) for ages (over 15 years). A year ago I picked up bass and now it is my first instrument! (I guess I am sort of a convert) I play Yamaha BB1100s, Eden Nemesis Head (NA 320) - what I need now is a portable 4 ohm 300 - 400 watt cabinet. Ideally 2x10 - but I will post in stuff needed now!
