What colour is open pore walnut ibanez mikro, is it brown or dark red?

Hey guys, first post here so sorry if I've done anything wrong. I'm looking into getting the ibanez mikro in OPW however I can't tell what the colour is. I'm looking for a nice deep cool brown bass however some pictures it looks red. I know lighting makes a difference but can I see yours in different lighting? There's few pictures that aren't studio

just straight brown brown is brown

I had one.  It was definitely brown..... and a darker brown at that.  I think it was called 'walnut'.

I don't know if this helps, but technically brown is orange.

I have seen this bass in the wild and it seemed like a very typical brown, in a normal orange way.

 

Fun fact: purple only exists in your mind, it isn't a wavelength of light.
