Darkglass Microtubes 900V2

Found this as an ex demo model at Guitar Guitar heavily reduced so decided to try it, my first experience of Darkglass amps 

Build Quality is very good, it’s a very sleek design.

Playing it clean sounded very nice, 6 band EQ made it easy to get a warm full sound and a powerful loud sounding amp. 
The one knob compressor is very good indeed 

The dual selection drive section is one of the nicest sounding drives for bass, not farty or wooly but just right for rock and more. 
Then it has the intelligent Footswitch which works off a standard guitar lead and can turn on/off drive and mute the amp. 
This gets me the sound I wanted and no need for drive pedals etc

I had a Mk1 and enjoyed it. I’d like to try a Mk2 at some point.

Totally concur. I've never got the point of the gain knob which darkglass seem to have dropped on the 500W version. I've never used the cab sims but hey they don't get in the way. Currently my fave amp.
