neepheid Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Take another one out, and measure it, then get a replacement?Ā It's just a case of getting the correct screw.Ā Perhaps a local, friendly fastener supplier could help? Ā Contact Gotoh? 1 Quote
neepheid Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Oh and another thing, you won't find those Gotoh GB7s (if indeed they're even called GB7s) anywhere but the second hand market, especially those ones with the plastic, fluted bit below the button. Ā The modern day GB707 has a different shaped button. Edited 5 hours ago by neepheid 1 Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago I found a website via ai/ Google ( yes I know ) called Glued to music .Ā I registered with them , and assumed I could pay via PayPal , but for some reason PayPal was unavailable at this time . Apple Pay was the other option but I decided not to proceed ! Site may not be legit as I havenāt received confirmation email .Ā Ā Iād rather not get soaked in this weather and itās a bus ride to the nearest hardware shop . There is Amazon but they have too many options .. Quote

neepheid Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) I have these tuners on one of my basses also: Ā Ā They're good tuners, well worth replacing that screw if you ask me.Ā Let me have a rummage in my spares boxes and see what I can find. Edited 4 hours ago by neepheid 1 Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago I did receive an email from Neil Co owner of the company I mentioned .Ā He noticed I didnāt checkout , so I am now in conversation with him via email to see if I can get the replacement needed!Ā Quote
neepheid Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago OK, well for my own curiosity if nothing else, I'll still see if I've got a suitable replaceable screw anyway and if I find one, I'm happy to send you it. 1 Quote

RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Sorry to be a bit wet behind the ears , but Iām not sure of the actual size of that screw. š¤¦āāļø Glued to music are a legitimate organisation who have been very helpful.. However they are unsure if they have the size needed. They sent a link for 15mm which may be too big .. Quote
