In my quest for the ultimate balancing bass I bought one of these earlier last year but was never happy with the sound so tried different pickups then gave up and put it back in its bag.

Currently, it's missing all electronics, although I do have the original pickups (no screws) that I will include. I was planning on buying a set of the new EMG E4W pickups but being absolutely honest, I'm never going to use it so it's time for it to go.

It comes with it's gig bag and all of the tools required to change strings, adjust the truss rod etc and I think that it's fitted with my usual Hybrid Slinkies.

it looks almost brand new, pretty much because it is. I think I used it for maybe 3 gigs at the most. I have already done the thrust bearing mod to make the tuning smoother

No messing about so looking for £400 or reasonable offer.

I have the original packaging for this so can post it. The weight is coming in at a back friendly 5.8lbs using the on and off the scales method - plus whatever the electronics will weigh.

I prefer payment by bank transfer and have done this many times with other members on the forum as a buyer and as a seller.

If you are too far away to collect then I am happy for you to arrange a courier to collect it.

I've just found most of the electronics including the battery box but don't have any of the nuts/washers/knobs for the pots or the screws or battery clip for the battery box.

I also remembered that I'd taken pictures prior to snipping the wires just in case

I agree that it's an easy soldering job to get it back up and running but unfortunately I've always been terrible at it.

That's why I tend to use EMGs or soldered harnesses
