Ibanez SR700
£375
WHITLEY BAY

I bought this recently from our very own jay-syncro and wasn't planning on selling it anytime soon but I've had the chance to buy back something that i regretted selling so here we are. I hope jay doesn't mind me using some of the wording from his original advert.

The bass is in excellent condition as jay gave it a recent clean and setup including a new set of D'Adarrio strings. I've only used It on 2 gigs. It plays beautifully and sounds great. These basses offer incredible value for money!

I paid the bargain of price £295 from jay, which one of our members commented was an SR700 for SR500 money. This is actually true as I've just sold an SR500 for £300. I'd like to think that we are an honest bunch on here so I'm not trying to make any money on this, although it is up for sale elsewhere for a higher price!

I've listed it for £375 as I've added a brand new Ibanez moulded case which I've never had out of the house as I'm too afraid to scratch the case! 🤣

Happy to package this up for postage but you would have to arrange your own courier, otherwise collection from Whitley Bay or possible meet up in the Darlington area as I get down there a bit.

Here's the manufacturer specs:

"The SR700 features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a jatoba and bubinga SR4 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone ovals position markers. Components include a pair of Bartolini MK-1 pickups, an Accu-cast B20 fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, die-cast machine heads. Controls consist of a single volume, balancer, and Bartolini MK1 3-band EQ with treble, bass, and mid boost/cut"

I know what you mean.  I've always used soft gigbags and left the HSCs at home for the same reason.  Daft really, but there you go!
