Not sure if this is even allowed so please delete if not mods!

I would of course list things for sale here anyway… but… I keep seeing ads on Facebook like ‘sell your guitars’ etc.

Richtone music, bax music and fat bottom guitars have been pushed to me today.

has anyone had any experience of this? It says free quotes so I suppose I may as well find out what they’d offer. I’m guessing not incredible prices as they have to make money after all. It could be a quicker, less hassle way of doing things?

I’ve never done it before so I figured find out from those who have

For your Peavey's use BassBros.

Going through a retailer, it will be easier and quicker, but you'll take a significant knock on the money you'll get.

If you are selling it to a retailer in my experience you are looking at half the selling price they will advertise it at so you might take a large hit on the bass.

I have sold stuff through Bass Direct and Bass Bros who usually charge 20% on a commission sale but I have had good results with both and Bass Bros will buy stuff from you outright. Unless you are selling gear for a good price at the moment it can take a while to shift privately.

I’ve been noticing on many forums and classified sites that things are not selling as quickly as they used to. Facebook advertising can be annoying , and yet in the local marketplace section deals can be found.
It seems that things are unusually slow right now.
