NUX Melvin Lee Davis DI/Preamp - £100 (brand new) £100 Moreton In Marsh

Hi all, here we have my NUX Melvin Lee Davis Preamp.

 

Purchased the original from Andertons in June of 2024, but the DI went faulty, so they sent me a brand new one as a replacement a month ago. I've used it only to rehearse 3-4 times using the Aux + headphone jack.

 

Selling as I'm going back to using amps/cabs, and this (or rather its predecessor) I was using directly into the PA.

A shortened version of features;

 

IR loader 

Acts as an audio interface

Switchable amp and cab models (need to connect to PC to do so)

Drum machine built in when connected to PC (this is a cool feature)

3-band EQ with sweepable kids

Headphones input

Aux input

Switchable drive circuit with blend knob

DI out.

 

I'll chuck in the power supply for it that I purchased, as they don't as standard come with one, so it'll be ready to go for any new owner.

 

I CAN post this if required ( for once!), but collection is also possible from Moreton in Marsh (Oxfordshire/Gloucestershire/Warwickshire border).

I used to have this pedal. Very very solid. also has a high pass filter when you use the software.

I bought one of these earlier this year here on Basschat, and  I have to say that I've really been impressed with it! 

 

As a preamp, it's great; excellent e.q. with sweepable mids, a very good and blendable drive control, plus the amp/cab models too. I really haven't been able to fault it so far! And I've not even used the cool  online features yet.. 

 

This YouTube review is pretty helpful, actually...
