Malletta Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I purchased a 1993 Trace Elliot VA400 amplifier that was not working. I managed to find its wiring diagram on the WEB, but page 2 of the power stage is missing. On page 2 there should be the protection, standby, and warm-up circuitry, controlled by two CMOS 4093BE. I replaced three broken 22 ohm (3W) resistors on three grids of 3 6550 tubes. I turned on the amplifier, but it does not activate the two relays that keep it in standby. The two buttons (Reset and StandBY) do not cause any change. The red Warm-Up LED and the green StandBy LED remain constantly on. It would also be helpful to know its user manual, which I can't find. Rich Posted October 26 Posted October 26 (edited) Hi @Malletta, I've moved this to the Repairs/Technical forum where it might be more visible and is better suited. Edited October 26 by Rich Quote
