I just ruined a set of short scale nylon tape wounds

First time for me to try out a set of tape wounds.

I ordered a set of La Bella Black nylons for my acoustic short scale Guild bass.

Little did I know about these strings, especially how NOT to cut them shorter on the black nylon  coating, so slowly the nylon drifted apart as a pair of very old socks on my skinny legs.

Thats old bunch of money out of the window - someone show post a “how to put tape wound strings for dummies” on YouTube.

Not I just feel stupid
