Yamaha bb414 4 string p&j £150 REIGATE

Yamaha bb414, I picked this up on here a while back. Has an issue with pickup selection. It plays in the p position but not p&j or j. I swapped out the switch with a new witchcraft selector switch. But alas its the same. I think it might be the jack socket. But im basically resigned myself to only playing jazz nut width. So this is up for what I paid, £150. I can post it but will need to be neck off and boxed up.

So is it basically just a PBass Reggie?

Its a p right now. But someone should easy be able to sort it out. I planned to swap wiring for a kiogon loom but lost interest and playing my jazz's.
