Changing tuners on Mexican Player Plus Precision

Hello,

 

I know that the Hipshot HB7’s are a direct replacement for these but they are quite expensive. However I was wondering if anyone knew if Schaller or Gotoh do them to a similar spec and also if they knew which models they are? I am struggling to find anything concrete and I can see there’s similar looking options by both out there but don’t really want to be making a costly mistake.

Why are you looking to replace the tuners?  Not being argumentative, just trying to get an idea of where you're heading with this.
