SALEH Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Hi to all BASS family, I have a Steve Bailey FENDER 6 String and need to set up a new set of strings with it, but the bridge has too many screws with different sizes, I have already found a 14 peace fender set up Swiss army style tool, But I'm not sure if that set of tools would work, I've tried FENDER web-sit to find any trace of the bridge and details but it didn't work, also I couldn't find any way to contact FENDER directly, already purchased a set of Allan key online but still it didn't work, can anyone here help me?? Dad3353 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It sounds as if you need both an Imperial and a Metric set of Allen keys, as Fenders (and other basses/guitars...) could be either. Luckily, these are not expensive, and, if buying decent quality ones, will last a lifetime. Any help..? Quote
Woodinblack Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago according to the internet, the bridge on the Steve Bailey bass VI uses a 2.5mm and 1.5mm allen key 2.5mm Allen wrench: For the main bridge locking screw. 1.5mm Allen wrench: For the individual saddle height and string spacing screws. you can get them anywhere, they don't have to be Fender items.
