johnoffurn Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 I wonder if anyone can help me identify the bass below. It is a 2005 active Sandberg fretless bass. However I am trying to confirm what model it is. I have asked the question of Sandberg but got a reply from their support mail box saying on leave until the 16th September. I think it may be an older "basic" model natural matt. Does anyone have an idea if I am correct or where I could confirm the model. Many thanks. Quote
Bassassin Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 A quick Google image search suggests it's a Sandberg Bullet Booster. Which is a really rubbish name for a nice-looking bass, in my (admttedly valueless) opinion. https://bassbros.co.uk/sold-basses/2012-sandberg-bullet-booster-fretless/ There are people on here who know a lot more about Sandbergs than me, with luck one wil be along soon. LeftyJ Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 (edited) Yes, this is a Bullet. The model has been renamed the "Classic" a few years ago. The soapbar pickup would indeed give it the addition "Booster" (now renamed to Classic Booster). The Basic has a stubbier, shorter upper horn than the Bullet. Edited September 2, 2025 by LeftyJ Quote
