Broken power supply mains cord - power module options?

Hi all, 

I'm looking for some kind of power module like in the photo further below, but one that I can connect to my power supply's 18v 'Boss style' input (orange input seen here)

 

 

I've been using a Palmer PWT12 supply for a few years, fairly inexpensive compared to the likes of Cioks and Strymon but still good quality, no noise etc.  Unfortunately the mains cord is dying. I've had it repaired a few times but it just gets worse with time and I'd rather not risk blowing my pedals. It doesn't seem possible to buy the mains cord by itself.

Rather than replace the whole supply, I wondered if I could get something like in the picture below. A power module that I can position on the edge of my board and connect to the supply itself. Does anyone know of anything that might be suitable? I can only seem to see IEC-to-EC cables like this one.

Would a wall wart like https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/356130082559 and a polarity reversing 5.5/2.5mm female to 5.5/2.1mm adaptor do, or must it be a module that takes an IEC lead? If it has to take an IEC lead then a laptop power supply like https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/277262161493 with a polarity reversing adapter? I'm assuming that the orange connector is centre negative, if not then you don't need the polarity reversal.

I'm not dead set on a specific set-up really, just something that will work. I currently have to connect the wall wart type supply to the power block under the board. Some kind of module on the side of the board would be more convenient.

My solution to connecting a wall wart to a pedalboard was to cable tie a DC extension lead to the jack-jack lead running from the pedalboard to the amp, both leads the same length, which at least meant there weren't multiple leads from the region of the amp to the pedalboard. The posher version had the leads inside a length of braided tubing.

 

If you want to go down the mains lead route, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/355321478106 looks like a good bet, again with a polarity reverser. Probably kettle lead type though it may be cloverleaf.
