BassAdder60 Posted July 16 Posted July 16 It’s arrived and it’s like an old friend coming home ! Needed setting up, action was very high and the Rosewood fretboard was drier than a nuns chuff ! Anyways fretboard done, frets polished and action set and she’s ready to play 12 Quote
Pow_22 Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Looks lovely that. Out of interest what did you use on the dry rosewood? Quote
BassAdder60 Posted July 16 Author Posted July 16 (edited) Guitar lemon oil and it really needed it ! I think it’s Jim Dunlop lemon oil for guitars Rosewood goes nice and dark if you apply it, let it soak in and then wipe it down it really makes a difference and protects the wood too Edited July 16 by BassAdder60 1 Quote
Lozz196 Posted July 16 Posted July 16 That is a great looking Precision, awesome job on the ‘board, really dark/rich Quote

Its looking very nice now and is lovely to play too Edited July 16 by BassAdder60 1 Quote
HeadlessBassist Posted Monday at 10:06 Posted Monday at 10:06 Those Player II's are getting some lovely figured wood, especially on your headstock. Hope you enjoy your lovely bass! Quote
