NBD: Fender Player Series II PBass

It’s arrived and it’s like an old friend coming home ! 
 

Needed setting up, action was very high and the Rosewood fretboard was drier than a nuns chuff !

 

Anyways fretboard done, frets polished and action set and she’s ready to play

Looks lovely that.  Out of interest what did you use on the dry rosewood?

Guitar lemon oil and it really needed it !

I think it’s Jim Dunlop lemon oil for guitars 

 

Rosewood goes nice and dark if you apply it, let it soak in and then wipe it down it really makes a difference and protects the wood too

Thank you .. it was a very dry light brown colour on arrival ( built in 2024 ) and looked awful for a new bass.

 

Its looking very nice now and is lovely to play too

I bloody hope so ! 
 

It’s my only bass now and it fits my needs perfectly

Dunno but apparently he got it from a nun.....😇
