It has the original strings, which desperately need changing. There are a few little handling marks here and there which I've done my best to show up on photos, but it is otherwise as close to new as I've ever found in a second hand bass. Only selling as I've got my dream bass from a friend but I've now got to pay him! Comes with a Gear for Music hardcase which is also in near mint condition.
