Ian Somerville Posted June 5 Posted June 5 The 7lb jazz bitsa bass which has I believe has had a number of bass chatters as its custodian has me as its latest one. I bought it yesterday of Chris (cdog) in Leeds. I really like it, light as a feather (compared to my last jazz bass) and plays wonderfully - probably due to being played in extremely well by the excellent bass players who have had it before me! 9 Quote

If playing quality wears off on an instrument I strongly advise you to avoid buying from me at all costs 1 4 Quote
Ian Somerville Posted June 5 Author Posted June 5 I'm sure we must leave some of our musical DNA or qi on every instrument we play. That's why I like buying off bass chat in the hope I'm buying that along with the instrument. But I know what you mean, I pity anyone buying anything off me Quote

Nice! What are it's specs? Interested to learn how it's so light. Looks ace. Quote
Ian Somerville Posted June 5 Author Posted June 5 I think the large majority of the weight saving is from the body being made from paulownia/empress wood and at the other end of the neck the hipshot ultralight tuners probably save 1/2 pound just on their own. It also has a Gotoh bridge and Entwistle pickups so all the components are really good quality. 1 Quote
