Tanglewood Elfin Bass - £ Reduced £55 Bristol

Here’s a lovely little Tanglewood Elfin bass for sale. This is an ultra short scale bass in good condition with a 19.5” scale.

 

Bass has been used but not abused. There are marks and scratches including a bite mark on the headstock. (Not mine!) Plays well with a low action. The knobs are new(ish) and the strings are brand new. One tuner is different (which enables you to use a normal sized E string!). Comes with a spare tuner.

 

This was for sale here at £40 plus delivery and I’d normally honour that, but I’ve spent money on the strings and sorting it out.

 

£55 delivered seems fair. Ultimate low cost travel bass.

they’re not my teeth! (Previous owner).

 

strings are Fender roundwounds. They’re not purpose made for shortscales I just cut them down.

I literally discovered this behind a door. That’s a sign from someone upstairs that it must go.

Teeth marks are from my dog when she was a pup and had a little nibble. Whippet teeth mark relicing is something the Fender custom shop is yet to master.

This was the perfect bass for a couple of UK holidays. That’s why I bought it.
